Holiday-hunting employees costing employers up to £2 billion

Employees who research their holiday at work could be costing their employers up to £2 billion, according to a study by Employment Law Advisory Services (ELAS).

The average British worker spends as much as 8 hours and 24 minutes researching and booking their next holiday, which equates to an extra day's holiday. However, ELAS warns employers to be careful about setting precedents for unfair treatment of staff when it comes to the staff internet policy.
