Business Secretary Vince Cable has announced changes to the way regulations are drawn up and introduced in a bid to tackle unnecessary red tape for businesses. From 1 September 2010, there will be a 'one in, one out' system, where Ministers will have to identify current regulations with an equivalent value that can be removed before a new one is introduced.
