Mixed picture for exports in devolved countries
Recent figures have shown a mixed picture for Scottish and Welsh exports.
Scottish exports grew for the third consecutive quarter in the first three months of 2010, with an increase of 0.2%. Meanwhile, exports from Wales fell by 16.8% in the year up to Q1 2010. Northern Irish exports saw the biggest drop in exports of all the devolved countries, with a fall of 17.6% over the year up to Q1 2010.
