Company incorporations on the rise
The number of new companies has increased over the past year, according to figures from chartered accountancy Wilkins Kennedy.
The number of companies registered at Companies House rose by 10% to 362,300 in 2009/10, compared to 330,100 in 2008/09. The increase comes after a record 17% drop in the number of company incorporations in 2007/08.
