Vetting and Barring Scheme put on hold

The Government has also announced that the Vetting and Barring Scheme (VBS) that was introduced last year has been halted.

Registration was due to begin next month for new employees and those changing jobs but the Home Secretary Theresa May has ordered a review of the whole VBS, labelling the measures "draconian".
