Scrap Working Time Regulations, urges CIPD
The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) has called for the European Commission (EC) to scrap the Working Time Regulations.
The call comes after a CIPD and KPMG survey has revealed that nearly a third of employers see the Regulations as the biggest hindrance to their business. The Regulations impose limits on the amount of time employees can work over the course of a week.
