Mandatory training for pub doorstaff "out of proportion"
The recently introduced mandatory training requirements for new entrants to the pub doorstaff industry are "out of proportion", according to the Association of Licensed Multiple Retailers (ALMR), representing independent firms who own and operate pubs, bars and restaurants.
Nick Bish, chief executive of the ALMR, told BAD News that the new requirements are a step too far for doorstaff and pub owners and managers.
