Mr Cable said he would examine a range of regulations, brought in by the previous Government, including the Agency Workers' Directive and the right for fathers to claim up to six months of the mother's maternity leave. Mr Cable also announced he would set up the Reducing Regulation Committee, which will be dedicated to enforcing a new approach to bringing in laws and regulations.
