A million small firms unhappy with their bank, says FSB
A survey by the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) has revealed that one million small businesses report being dissatisfied with the support provided by their bank over the last year.
A quarter of firms surveyed said they were dissatisfied, which the FSB suggests is equivalent to 1.2 million small firms. Almost half of those surveyed said their bank manager was not based locally, while a third said a convenient location was important in helping them to choose a bank. The FSB wants to see a Post Bank introduced, which would use the current Post Office network as its base.
