UK training budgets hit by recession, says survey
Training budgets at UK firms have been slashed over the past year, according to the 2010 Learning and Development Survey by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
The survey results show that more than half of respondents have seen funding fall for training. Only one in ten employers expect their training budgets to increase over the coming year.
