Charities overpaying tax due to lack of communication
An expert has warned that charities must improve communication between their departments as some are paying too much tax.
The head of not-for-profit at auditors Horwath Clark Whitehill has warned that fundraising and finance departments do not communicate effectively enough, therefore leaving the charity facing potential tax liabilities.
