Call for regional stock exchanges as alternative to banks
The Government should introduce regional stock exchanges across the UK as a viable alternative source of finance for small businesses, according to commercial credit referencing agency Graydon UK.
Martin Williams, managing director of Graydon UK, told BAD News that regional stock exchanges would give small businesses an opportunity to raise equity capital rather than borrow money from the banks.
