Business owners from a wide range of sectors were questioned on the business issues they were most concerned about as well as the sources they preferred to turn to for help and advice. 80% of respondents turned to business colleagues and partners first for advice, followed by 72% who turned to contacts in business networks. Only 15% of respondents turned to their bank manager or adviser for support. Four out of five respondents also reported they were quite concerned or very concerned about tax and business rates.
