Small business leaders join fight against NI rise
A group of 400 owners of small and medium-sized businesses have banded together to protest at Labour's proposed 1% increase in National Insurance in April 2011.
In a letter to The Telegraph, hairdressers, florists, chartered accountants, retailers, photographers and many others said: "We believe the Government's proposal to increase national insurance comes at exactly the wrong time in the economic cycle".
