Equality Act guidance is ambiguous and misleading, claims FPB
The guidance published to help employers understand their obligations under the Equality Act 2010 is confusing to smaller firms, the Forum of Private Business (FPB) has warned.
The wording in the document, which was released by the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC), is "ambiguous and misleading" and makes it difficult for business owners to understand how to prevent discrimination, according to the FPB.
