Three-quarters of people want publicly run bank
A poll by YouGov reveals that 78% of people would like to see a publicly owned bank, which is run in the public interest and not solely for profit.
Small business representatives have welcomed the survey results and said that such a bank would provide a solution for small firms that do not have access to finance.
