New care registration rules are "irritating", claims industry representative
The forthcoming changes to the registration rules for care workers and agencies are "irritating" and will involve a considerable amount of work for small businesses in the sector, an industry representative has claimed.
Peter Cullimore, chairman of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) Nursing and Social Care Group, and who runs his own domiciliary care agency, told BAD News that the registration process is likely to be "a rigmarole".
