Nearly two-thirds of business owners confident in 2010
Nearly 60% of small business owners predict their firms will perform better in 2010 than in 2009.
O2's Small Business Confidence Index, carried out in December 2009, also reveals that 27% of respondents said their business is in a better financial position than it was at the same time in 2008. The survey results also indicate that the VAT increase, a rise in interest rates and the reluctance of the banks to lend money are the main concerns for small business owners for 2010.
