Defra must achieve right balance with Food 2030 strategy, says NFU
The Government must strike the right balance when implementing its Food 2030 strategy, the National Farmers Union (NFU) has warned.
The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) launched the Food 2030 strategy last week, which proposes better regulation for fishermen to give them greater control of their livelihoods and a reduction of the administrative burden on farmers.
