Banks are blocking business development, say small firms
The majority of small business owners believe that banks are holding back on lending and therefore blocking sound business propositions, according to the results of a recent survey by QBE Insurance Group.
This opinion is held by 72% of firms in business and professional services and 70% of those respondents in the IT, media and printing sector. Around 68% of firms across all sectors believe the banks are holding back viable business proposals.
