Retailers given four weeks for VAT repricing
The Government has confirmed that retailers will be given four weeks to update price labels following the change to the VAT rate on 1 January 2010.
The law gives businesses only two weeks to make changes, but the Government has granted retailers extra time under the Price Marking Order, in order to help retail firms during one of their busiest periods.
