Mandelson suggests tax breaks for manufacturing entrepreneurs
Business Secretary Lord Mandelson has said the Government is keen to give tax breaks to manufacturing entrepreneurs in order to encourage the setting up of more UK-owned manufacturing plants.
Speaking to the FT.com, Lord Mandelson said that it is "absolutely essential" that the UK develops a competitive advantage, and believes that strengthening the country's manufacturing sector is "one way to do this".
