Government seeks views on Post Office bank
The Department for Business Innovation and Skills (BIS) is seeking views on the proposal to develop banking and financial services at the Post Office.
The Government has said that it believes it is right to expand the Post Office's range of financial services, in order to develop a local bank that people can trust as well as develop new revenue streams for the Post Office. The consultation is open until 24 February 2010 and contributions are welcome from anyone with an interest in the Post Office.
