UK firms focus on improving cash flow, survey shows

UK businesses are concentrating on improving their cash flow during 2009, according to the Global Enterprise Survey Report 2009, which is published by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).

The poll also reveals that UK firms are the most likely not to consider the regulatory and taxation systems to be "business friendly". Furthermore, fewer respondents said they are planning turnover growth. Only 66% said they would attempt to grow the business, compared to 85% this time last year.
