Marketing regulations restrictive for small firms

Marketing professionals in small businesses do not fully understand the UK's marketing regulations, a recent survey has revealed.

A study by the Worshipful Company of Marketors shows that small firms find the Corporate Telephone Preference Service (CTPS), which allows businesses to opt out of receiving unsolicited telephone calls, restrictive. The author of the study said that it is "maybe time that marketers took an interest in legislation" and lobby for change.
