CRB check fee decrease comes into effect
The price of a Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check has been reduced from 1 October 2009.
The fee for a Standard Disclosure has dropped from £31 to £26. The Home Office said that the fee reduction was possible due to the high number of applications to the new Vetting and Barring Scheme, which comes into force on 12 October 2009.
