Cheque Guarantee Card Scheme to close in 2011
The UK Payments Administration has announced the Cheque Guarantee Card Scheme will close on 30 June 2011.
From this date it will not be possible to guarantee a cheque under the scheme, however businesses and customers will still be able to write and accept cheques.
