Cash flow still key issue for small business, says survey
Small firms are still reporting that cash flow is their main concern, as access to finance continues to decline, according to the Forum of Private Business' (FPB) eighth Economic Downturn Panel report.
The report shows that over half (58%) of businesses surveyed reported they were mainly concerned about late payments by customers, while 20% reported that a lack of orders and sales was the most worrying factor for them. Meanwhile, four in ten firms reported an improvement in trading conditions.
