Small businesses turn backs on Enterprise Finance Guarantee scheme
More than nine in ten business owners say there is little point applying for the Government's Enterprise Finance Guarantee (EFG) scheme, according to a survey by financial advisory firm Clifton Asset Management.
A spokesperson for the firm said the survey results back up the "huge store of anecdotal evidence" from business owners that it is nearly impossible for them to access finance through the EFG scheme.
