The Food Standards Agency (FSA) has launched a consultation on front-of-pack nutrition labelling on food sold through UK retailers. The consultation lasts for 14 weeks and is open to food businesses, as well as public health bodies and consumers. It comes after a study revealed that a single scheme for nutrition labelling would be most helpful for consumers. The consultation seeks views on the costs and benefits of such a scheme.
