Competition Commission recommends ombudsman for supply Code of Practice
The Competition Commission (CC) has made a formal recommendation to the Government that an ombudsman should oversee and investigate complaints under the new Groceries Supply Code of Practice (GSCOP).
The new Code of Practice, which comes into effect early in 2010, will work much better with an ombudsman in place, the CC recommends.
