Small business costs fall during first quarter of 2009
The cost of running a small business fell during the first quarter of 2009, according to the More Th>n Business Inflation Guide.
There was a 1.4% drop in costs for small firms in the first three months of 2009, which has been attributed to a fall in labour, advertising and raw material costs. Manufacturing firms benefited most from the drop in prices, with their costs falling by 1.5%.
