Securing bank loans 'is a lottery', small firms claim
Getting a bank loan is a lottery, according to small business representatives.
Phil Orford, from the Forum of Private Business (FPB), told the Daily Mail that it is still difficult for small firms to secure a loan as getting financial help "depends on the risk appetite of a bank". He added that the Royal Bank of Scotland and Lloyds are the most accommodating towards small businesses.
