Government announces extension to Trade Credit Insurance top-up scheme
The Government has announced an extension to the Trade Credit Insurance (TCI) top-up scheme that will allow more firms to participate in the scheme.
Eligibility for the scheme will be backdated so that businesses that have had their insurance cover reduced since 1 October 2008 can now purchase top-up cover under the scheme. Previously, it was open to firms who had reduced cover since April 2009.
