IAB updates guidelines for online video advertising

The Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB) has issued updated guidelines for businesses that use online video advertising.

The updated best practice guidance has been agreed following a six-month consultation with industry representatives including Yahoo!, Sky, the Guardian and the BBC. The new guidelines cover all formats of online advertising. Robert Black, Video Council chair at the IAB said: "The new handbook and digital resource provide guidelines and case studies that will help to continue to build this exciting new way of reaching out to and engaging the online audience."
