HMRC texts prompt fraud concerns
HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) has warned business owners that the new customer contact system using SMS text message is susceptible to fraud.
HMRC warns that if a customer receives a SMS text message from any other number than their helpline, they should not respond and report it to their local HMRC contact centre.
