Small business lending rises in February, claims BBA
The latest statistics from the British Bankers' Association (BBA) reveal that high street banks' lending to small businesses increased by £211 million during February 2009.
The data released by the BBA reveals that the amount available through overdrafts has increased by £74 million between January and February 2009, while term lending has risen by £137 million, with over 44,000 new banking relationships being established.
