Music licence cost slashed for small firms
The cost of a music licence that allows businesses to play music in the workplace has been cut.
PRS for Music, the organisation that oversees the licensing process, announced that the licence now costs £44 per year plus VAT for businesses with four employees or less. John Wright, national chairman of the FSB, said that the reduction will be a "real relief for many small businesses".
