A tenth of small businesses are turning to family and friends for help with cash flow rather than approach the banks.
A tenth of small businesses are turning to family and friends for help with cash flow rather than approach the banks. A survey by cash flow solutions firm Close Invoice Finance has found that less than 6% of small and medium-sized firms were confident that their bank would offer them credit in 2009, compared to 73% at the same time last year. This has led to one in ten businesses asking their family and friends to help out.
