Every household in Britain should have access to broadband by 2012, according to the Government's Digital Britain report.

Every household in Britain should have access to broadband by 2012, according to the Government's Digital Britain report. The interim report, which was released in January, outlines plans to develop and modernise the UK's digital infrastructure in order to give universal access to the broadband network. Business Secretary Peter Mandelson said: "This report sets out a strategy for building a knowledge economy where our most valuable assets are the skills and innovation that underpin our digital industries."
