Whisky and cheese lead British export boom
Whisky and cheese are leading an export boom of British food and drink, according to figures from Food From Britain (FFB).
One of the fastest growing markets for whisky is South East Asia, where exports leapt by 84% last year (as reported by Ananova).
Cheese exports are up 85% since 2000, and France took 21% more British cheese than in 2006. Popular cheeses are Lancashire, Cheshire and Wensleydale.
