Inflation affecting freelancer supply and demand
Thousands of UK workers are taking on second jobs to help them cope with the credit crunch.
That's according to freelancing website PeoplePerHour.com, which says inflation has increased supply and demand for freelancers, and has reported that some 35% of its registrants have full-time jobs and this figure is growing.
Website owner Xenios Thrasyvoulou said the current economic conditions have added to the popularity of sites like PeoplePerHour, and the market for freelancers is fertile.
