UK IT sector losing skilled workers
The UK's IT sector looks set to lose staff to overseas businesses because of failure to deliver staff loyalty.
That's according to recruitment firm Computer People, which conducted a survey of 4,967 professionals in the industry.
Computer People found that 87% of people surveyed would accept a job abroad if the opportunity came along. A further 48% are keeping a lookout for jobs and 27% expect to move within three months.
A spokesman for Computer People said that UK businesses need to offer their employees broader incentives to stay rather than just awarding decent salaries.
