Parking charges affecting town centre businesses
The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) says that local authorities should re-think their town centre car park charging policies as they are having a negative effect on business.
The business organisation is concerned that council plans to raise revenue through excessive town centre parking policies will backfire as high street shops close and local employment is lost.
