Remote workers up to no good online
Research by Internet secuity firm ScanSafe has revealed that remote workers are more likely to go on dodgy sites than their office-based colleagues.
The report revealed that workers using roaming facilities were 8.5 times more likely to access illegal file sharing websites than their office colleagues, and almost four times more likley to access websites containing information about illegal activities.
ScanSafe is reminding employers that employees accessing such questionable content are putting employers' sites at risk of exposure to malware and other security threats.
