One-click bankruptcy
Moves to open up insolvency methods could lead to individuals starting bankruptcy proceedings for themselves or others online.
There are concerns that people will use the new system against people they have a grudge against.
The Insolvency Service is currently working on the new plans, which will reduce the level of court costs for filing for bankruptcy from £500 to £100. The new plans will be introduced in 2009.
