Extent of capital gains unpopularity revealed in survey

A survey by accountants MacIntyre Hudson has revealed the extent of the unpopularity of the Government's proposed Capital Gains Tax (CGT) reforms.

According to the survey results, over 70% of business owner-managers opposed the Chancellor's reform, and three-quarters thought it would have a detrimental effect on Britain's entrepreneurs.
