Tools to make work safer
The Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) has launched a range of free online tools to help small businesses carry out their health and safety obligations.
Safestartup, a basic health, safety and environmental guide, has been produced specifically for small businesses. It includes information on hazards and basic control measures for 60 different types of business.
IOSH has also produced a risk management toolkit designed to help small businesses tackle risks in their workplaces, and an occupational health toolkit to help them identify health risks.
