The BBC reports that the practice will come into place in May but eBay sellers are disgruntled at the move, which will stop any sellers posting negative or neutral comments, such as feedback about late payers or other bad experiences.

eBay defended the move to give buyers more immunity, saying that buyers need more protection than sellers because they have to send money to someone they don't know.
