Skype customers issued with wrong numbers
Skype - the Internet telephony system owned by eBay - has apologised to customers after issuing around 10,000 numbers to customers in London that will now be disconnected before Christmas.
The numbers had already been allocated to another business for its users, according to Contractor UK.
Customers, many of whom had printed business cards and mailshots with their Skype number, are being allocated new numbers and offered a year's free subscription to the service.
